Got questions?
We’ve got answers!

Can I join a class without signing up online?

Online registration is mandatory!

Each class has a size (participation) limit to encourage adequate spacing and to ensure you leave with a fulfilling workout experience.

How and when do I pay for a session or membership?

Clients can register for a single class or select a pricing plan to allow them to register for multiple classes without having to pay every single time during registration.

And remember!

Registration is mandatory and done online.

Do you offer trial memberships if I’m uncertain about purchasing a membership package?

We don't offer trial memberships.

BUT! Occasionally we offer free sessions, especially for new sessions that are traditionally unpopular in order to sensitize the public's curiosity as to what the session entails.

We also offer promotions on our various social media platforms and on www.gustazos.com.

Do I have to carry my own props/gears, e.g. yoga mat?

No you don't.

Props/gears are available for every session that requires them.

BUT! We understand for personal and hygienic reasons you may prefer to bring and use your own props/gears and we certainly have no objections.

I haven’t been to the gym or seriously exercised in a while. How can I get back into a routine?

Firstly, we're a boutique fitness studio, not a gym.

That means we do not use machines, equipment and/or heavy weights. We promote the use of your own body weight, strength and flexibility to your advance your fitness level and overall wellness.

We recommend spacing out the sessions you want to attend - for example, one session a day or one session every other day - depending how inactive you've been and then gradually increase the frequency of your attendance.

I have family and friends visiting. Do you offer guest passes?

Sorry, we do not offer guest passes.

However! We have several private group session packages available.

We also occasionally offer group bundles for our regular studio sessions - for example 2-for-1 sign-ups with a specific coupon code.

Is there a age limit to participating in the sessions or becoming a member ?

We do not have a age limit.

So feel free to join and be the best you.

We do however ask that you should you have any ailments or medical conditions (whether or not you think its concerning) that you declare these on your registration form wholly. This helps our instructors to modify their lesson plans and ensure your experience is comfortably challenging.

Can males join classes?

A B S O L U T E L Y !

While we do admit that our client-base is female dominanted -

everyone is welcome to participate.

Are children allowed to participate?

We offer a Kidz and Teenz club (ages 3 - 18) on Saturdays.

How do I know which pole fitness session to attend?

Unless you've taken a couple pole fitness classes before, then "POLE BASICS" is the best way to start.

With consistency, you'll "graduate" to the next level "POLE ROOKIE", then "POLE BABE", and finally "POLE ELITE".

Do I need to be flexible and/or have upper body strength to join a Pole Fitness session?

Not at all!

Flexibility and strength is developed with consistent attendance as well as incorporating our "non-pole" sessions.

Fun fact: self-proclaimed "couch potatoes" have demonstrated having a better experience generally than the self-proclaimed "gym rat" in our pole sessions.

What do I wear to pole fitness sessions?

Skin contact with the pole is super important!

Our recommended attire is a sports bra/tank top and short shorts/biker tights

Heels, shoes and socks are only required for specific pole classes. So please double-check the class description to be preapred.

Should I avoid doing anything before a pole fitness session?

Skin contact with the pole is super important!

Try to avoid using body lotions, oils, creams and moisturizers before attending a pole session. The "slippery-er" you are, the harder and more challenging your experience will be.
